Playground Installer

Penmarc Inspired Spaces, LLC is currently seeking Customer-Service-First-minded Installers to assemble various types of millwork, cabinets, playsets, and closet organizers for residential and commercial clients.

Penmarc is a premier service provider for providing installation services of custom-designed spaces that inspire playful and organized lifestyles. Working with products chosen by the client and customer, our team of professional installers brings the project to life by assembling spaces that will leave customers refreshed, excited, and ready to organize.

What you will be doing!

As an Installer, you will provide Penmarc Inspired Spaces with your availability and be assigned installation work during these hours. 

Jobs consist of assembling any number of systems to include: Production measures of spaces, indoor demolition of current closet systems, sheetrock repair, painting, installing prefabricated custom closet systems, or installing outdoor prefabricated playsets. 

  • You are responsible for on-site customer satisfaction through job completion. 
  • You are bringing the highest level of professionalism and quality of work to every installation you undertake. 
  • Responsible for alerting the Penmarc Management, the client and/or scheduling teams to issues in the field and strategize to eliminate these issues on future jobs. 
  • Track your progress and maintain excellence in your workmanship and customer service. Be a team player to get the job done right!

Essential Functions 

  • Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation. 
  • Must have a cell phone or tablet with data service. 
  • Must own and use your own tools. 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all interactions with clientele and maintain excellent service through completion.
  • Continuously monitor your progress to optimize the efficiency of your day and installations.
  • Be able to problem-solve issues arising in the field to help complete your task promptly.
  • Interact positively and immediately with scheduling to keep abreast of progress.
  • Maintain your tools and work environment safely and cleanly, minimizing disturbance to other areas.
  • Respect the environments you will be working in as they are your own.

Required Education and Experience

  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Experience in some area of carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, interior trim, remodels, renovations, shelving or closet organizers is required.
  • Ability to obtain the RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Paint) Lead Renovator Certification within one month of hire.
  • Knowledge of General Safety Practices.
  • Ability to use hand tools, reciprocating and miter saws, and power tools correctly and safely.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively with a keen sense to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple installations in a day.
  • Ability to use applications on a cell phone.
  • Ability to read layouts from custom designs or blueprints.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics. 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Construction: 2 years
  • Carpentry: 1 year
