Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Kuehne + Nagel is looking for an Electric Pallet Jack Operator who is dependable, safety focused, and enjoys working in a team environment! The Electric Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a pallet jack or other heavy material handling equipment as required. The EPJ Operator is also responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center.

Shift: Weekend Shift (Saturday-Sunday) 7am-5:30pm
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Electric Pallet Jack Operator Responsibilities:

• Use EPJ to load and unload designated trailers
• Move product manually as required
• Verify and receive materials into inventory
• Duties may also include palletizing and shrink wrap
• Use EPJ to move and store materials within the warehouse
• Use EPJ to pick, verify and pack orders according to to operational standard practice
• Use EPJ or other designated equipment to load goods into trailers or other transport vehicles used for distribution 
• Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program polices and procedures.
• Perform other job duties as needed

Electric Pallet Jack Operator Requirements:

• High School Education or Equivalent
• 1 year EPJ experience required 
• Basic computer skills 
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended amounts of time
• Ability to lift heavy materials
