FIX/Listed Derivatives Business Analyst

Overview

This position will be integral in the design and development of the listed derivatives data model which will be incorporated into a centralized data structure maintained by the Bank. Additionally, you will be involved in projects working with multiple product areas to gather business requirements and propose solutions in order to help the business enhance its core clearing platform as well as gain efficiencies and cost savings through managing projects in multiple complex functions within the Bank.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with design and development of core data model strategic data plans (SDPs) for the listed clearing business line

· Ability to think analytically with systematic and logical approach to solving complex problems, and high attention to detail

· Help drive best practices in and may tactically support highest priority releases and/or enhancements to large or critical systems

· Implement best practices around requirement gathering methodologies and requirement documentation procedures

· Work with markets clearing engineering team like information architects, business process management/workflow architects, functional architects, to drive a team centric solution and leveraging these skills to solution the best in class clearing platform

Your Skills and Experience:

· Extensive experience with GMI, or similar, listed derivatives back-office platform

· Proficient with StreamCore database model

· Knowledge of the following primary domains: transaction lifecycle processing, lifecycle event management, complex reporting and management of reporting across multi asset classes, and self-service client functions in the domain of clearing

· Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL), data modelling

· A willingness to learn all layers of the development stack, including test and auto deployment tools, to be able to collaboratively deliver front-to-back solutions, as well as champion best practice development techniques
