OBJECTIVE

The Safety Specialist will be responsible for processing all Motor Vehicle Report requests and results in a timely manner. Manage safety training programs, materials and processes. Maintain quality and productivity standards set by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible to review new client enrollment specifics to design and document Client requirements. Ensure each client MVR / Safety Product procedures are in place and operational.
  • Responsible to process all Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Requests and results on a timely basis and manage various reporting techniques.
  • Responsible to manage any State required Driver Authorization requirements.
  • Responsible to review and work the MVR status reject list.
  • Responsible to manage Client's project plans.
  • Responsible to manage weekly and monthly reports.
  • Responsible to manage replacement decal process.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Ability to research Safety billing
  • Responsible to manually point all results if required, and report in required format.
  • Responsible to monitor any new violations and it to the violation table.
  • Manage any driver training programs and communications as required.
  • Responsible for incoming calls
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in Rolling Meadows, IL and operates in a professional office environment.

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

This is a Full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within Automotive Claims/Fleet Management environment, or similar experience required.
  • Strong customer service and communication (verbal, written) skills. Detail oriented.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Basic math skills required.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
