Sharepoint Developer

Caregiver's primary role is to design, develop and implement high-quality, dynamic solutions to various internal and external clients throughout the health system.  He/she will use development tools and programing languages to design and code technical solutions that meet the needs of the business.  This role will follow specific coding  and release management standards, work along side DBAs and other programmers to design optimized and efficient logical databases for use within sharepoint and leverage industry best practices for security, customizations and governance relative to the Sharepoint technology stack. 
Assists in planning and documentation of projects related to the development and maintenance of SharePoint environments.
In collaboration with other team members, assists in the overall management of the SharePoint environment from both an operational perspective and an end-user perspective.
Develops documentation, validates, and monitors that operational policies are being met.
Creates documentation, and assists in the planning aspects of future enhancements.
Assists in the development and implementation of site layouts, site templates, user navigation strategies, and information/data management strategies.
Technical solution lead architecting topology and scalability of farm, solutions and tenant.
Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and deploys web parts, event receivers, and workflows for Sandboxed or Farm level solutions.
Configures BCS Services, custom content types, SharePoint security and permissions, SharePoint API and Client Object Model.
Designs, develops and implements custom branding solutions for SharePoint including, Master Pages, Layout Pages, CSS, jQuery and jQuery UI components.
Designs and implement program logic, specifications, flow charts and supporting process diagrams for business software specifications.
1.            Several years of relevant SharePoint development experience
2.            Several years of proven experience with design, planning, and implementation in SharePoint Portal and SharePoint Services 2010/2013.
3.            Experience of Web Development technologies including ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, JQUERY, HTML5, CSS            and SQL Server (AngularJS a plus).
4.            Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Visual Studio, Team Site setup and         configuration, Dashboards, and Web Parts.
5.            In-depth understanding of the SharePoint development lifecycle in support of multiple user      groups.
6.            Technical back-end knowledge of SharePoint's system design and architecture, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
7.            Database proficiencies in SQL, Excel, DB, and XML.
8.            Experience creating, modifying, and supporting web based platforms and solutions.
9.            Experience with SharePoint site administration and web part configuration.
10.          Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in the SharePoint environment .
11.          Understanding of SharePoint web content management and search engine optimization.
12.          Proven in-depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint, SharePoint templates (site and lists templates), web parts development, workflow and content management.
13.          Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security as they apply to SharePoint.
14.          Strong understanding of SharePoint Farm architectures, Office 365 and software as a service solutions.
15.          Strong knowledge of Windows architecture including Windows 2008/2012 server design and support as they related to SharePoint.
16.          Ability to design, code, and unit test applications based on .Net, Web Services, SQL, JavaScript - JQuery - Datatables JQuery Library - CSS - SharePoint JavaScript Client Side Object Model - SPServices - AJAX Calls into the SharePoint 2013 REST Interface using JQuery.
17.          Excellent documentation and analytical skills.
18.          Strong customer interaction skills including verbal and written communication skills are essential.
•             With B.S. Degree - 5 years of relevant experience including leading projects.
•             Without B.S. degree - 8 years of relevant experience including leading projects and developing teams.
MCSE or equivalent is strongly desired but not required
