Manufacturing Technician/Assemblers

Description:

• Perform all receiving within the Oracle and the Mobile Device System and coordinates the parts

• Build C sample battery packs and learn every element of battery production

• Train next wave of Battery Production Associates to build D samples and Production level packs

• Set up work instructions and quality points on the battery production process

• Set up the tiered board to measure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People Development

• Setup work stations, and eliminate any safety issues or ergonomic issues

• Work closely with Production and Design team to identify, support root cause, and eliminate all throughput and quality-related issues

• Be able to work in a team environment with a Can-do attitude

• Able to carefully follow instructions to build quality in station

• Load and unload materials in warehouse and storage facilities; receive materials into the Company system and verify materials against Pack Lists to ensure the accuracy of the delivery; count and weigh parts to check quantity accuracy and contact the buying team when the shipment is inaccurate to rectify the discrepancy.

• Pick parts for shipment and packaging according to shipping procedures. Complete the appropriate paperwork to ship the product.

• Pick parts for kitting and packages according to the pick list kitting procedures. Complete the appropriate paperwork for the kitting process. Performs the transactions in the system to consume the parts pulled for the kit carts.

• Perform transactions in the inventory system to enter new quantities and during shipping transactions to remove inventory from stock. Uses material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location.
