We've Got little, but BIG Shoes to Fill.

We're looking for a creative, team-oriented, and passionate individual to join our growing Human Resources team. As the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator you will help grow and maintain Kitchen Magic's Human Resources processes and initiatives across all areas. The position is 30 to 35 hours a week, Monday Friday with the potential to move to a 40-hour work week in the future. The company will work with the right candidate on a weekly schedule.

  • Culture is what makes Kitchen Magic such a great place to work and as the HR Coordinator you will be a Culture Champion. Your role will be to promote and ensure employees stay true to our culture.
  • HR doesn't work without the basics. In this role, you will be responsible to coordinate all activities around benefits, payroll, leave of absence, employee records, reporting, and many other HR activities.
  • Innovate and initiate are the name of the game. We are always looking for ways to make processes easier and faster for our employees, and as the HR Coordinator you will be asked to help review and implement process improvements.
  • In HR, the internal customer is our priority. As the HR Coordinator you will be the primary point of contact for all things HR. Your role is to ensure employees get the HR answers they need timely and accurately. Consider yourself the Siri of HR.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Experience working in an office setting helpful, but not required.
  • Internship in Human Resources strongly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate needed outcomes in a persuasive and professional manner.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills required.
  • Detail orientated (you can swim in the minutia, but know when to get out and dry off).
  • Able to work independently.
  • You're a positive team-player. You are solution-oriented and understand that excellent communication and collaboration across all areas of the company is required to be successful.
  • You don't fear change. You eat it for breakfast, dailywith a few cups of coffee.
  • You're a time management master. You can organize and manage priorities in a fast-paced, yet collaborative environment.
  • You can be detail-oriented, without losing the bigger picture.
  • You're an excellent analytical and critical thinker, but aren't afraid to ask questions.
  • You believe in the power of fearless feedback. You welcome and can receive constructive criticism with humility, as well as have the courage to respectfully offer the same in return. You take ownership and learn from your mistakes.
  • You aren't intimidated to learn on your own. In fact, you crave learning!
