Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a full-time Accounts Receivable Associate to help our accounting team with daily invoicing, collecting customer payments, and resolving invoice discrepancies.

A Day in the Life of the Accounts Receivable Associate

You'll spend your day invoicing customers across our brands and locations; contacting customers regarding past due balances based on account terms; preparing and sending monthly aging reports to all customers; updating customer information in the ERP system; receiving and processing credit requests from new customers; creating credit memos once they are approved and returns have been processed; preforming customer research and account reconciliations; and researching and resolving invoice disputes and other billing inquiries from customers.

What You'll Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable or Sales Support experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • A passionate and positive can do attitude, willingness to learn, to teach, and to be a change agent within the company.
  • An ability to work within a team environment and help the team become better.

  • Experience with Sage ERP or other manufacturing integrated ERP systems
  • Strong problem solvers, mathematical aptitude
  • An ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, internal controls, and automation in month-end close processes
