Cake/Production Baker - Full Time + Tips

ISO Full Time(40 hours) Production Baker - Available immediately.  $16/HR plus tips ($1-3/HR)

Must have:

-Positive attitude

-Comfortable working in tight quarters

-Comfortable working early shifts and alone for one or more of their shifts

-Formal training in baking at culinary school

-6 months or longer baking in a scratch bakery, preferably with desserts & production baking

-Understanding of butter based batters: proper creaming method, mixing, etc.  

About The Job:

Our bakery specializes in butter based bakery items that are made from scratch. We are looking for a Cake Baker with a well rounded baking background who is comfortable with mixing batters & doughs as well as baking and assembly of a variety of bars, cookies, breakfast items (scones, coffee cakes) hand pies, & fillings in a fast paced environment. This candidate will also need to be self reliant, self motivated, have good time management, and be willing to work alone for some of their shift. Must be comfortable with operating a kitchen from start to finish and not shy away from washing dishes & kitchen cleaning duties. Be prepared to wear many hats as we are a small team. We are willing to train the right candidate in certain areas if you feel you are a close match. 

Official Shift Days are Saturday - Wednesday

Pay is $16/hr plus tips

We will host phone interviews first, then schedule a working interview. Position is available immediately.
