Equipmen Manager/Lead Server

As a Divine Catering Catering Server (Experience Required), you are executing the ultimate multitasking job around. In a matter of minutes you may be setting up and breaking down a catering event or providing exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service. If you are fast on your feet, quick thinking and can perform several tasks at once; this may be a great job for you!


We are looking for someone with experience in the catering and food service industry for a full-time position within our company. We are a laid back, but professional company dedicated to producing the best quality for each of our customers. Requirements for the position are listed below. - Must be at least 18 years old.

- Food Handler's Card is a must, OLCC is a plus.

- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.

- Must have at least 1 year experience in the catering field.

- Consistent attendance and punctuality is a job requirement.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to write simple correspondence.

- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- Detail Oriented and organized personality.

- Can lead others and take direction well

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful position

- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.



The position will include the following tasks:


- Deliveries and driving company vehicles to catered meals and events

- Ensuring exemplary guest service during events and through all forms of banquet service, including: buffets, plated, carving stations, bartending (requires OLCC - min age 21 years old), running food, replenishing product and supplies in accordance with event standards.

- Light kitchen prep work and performing side work helping to provide a clean and safe work environment in all catering areas.

- Interacting with customers and guests on-site at events

- Presenting our company in a put-together, respectful, and professional manner at all times

- Leading other employees in staffed events

- Ensuring that events are properly equipped and executed by pulling, transporting, setting up and breaking down, and returning equipment to designated storages in accordance to event standards.

- Keeping inventory of event equipment

- Cleaning, organizing, and restocking product/equipment returning from catering events.

- Serving and assembling meals/small bites on-site at events in accordance to our quality and event standards

- Possible bartending depending on status of OLCC - Must be at least 21 years old

- Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Divine Catering policies, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.

- Performing other duties as assigned.
