In this amazing job opportunity, you will get a chance to collaborate with children/adolescents, their families, guardians, and other care providers through designing and implementing individual, group, and family therapy in a residential setting. In conjunction with the Program Director, provides clinical leadership to program staff by implementing the treatment plan in the residential milieu.

What you will be doing to make a difference…

  • Serves as liaison to families, courts, schools and external systems such as DCF and DMH
  • Provides family therapy and individual therapy services when appropriate including home based therapy
  • Designs and oversees the implementation of the treatment plan
  • Maintains an active and regular presence in the milieu through provisions of check-ins with youth and staff as required by the program director
  • Facilitates clinical groups for youth

Requirements:


  • Master's Degree (MA, MS, MSW, M.Ed) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required
  • Must be license eligible
  • Professional license (LMHC, LCSW/ LICSW, LMFT) preferred
  • Acceptable CORI, SORI and DEEC background record check including fingerprinting
  • Valid driver's license
