Restaurant Manager

Golden Valley Brewery and Restaurant is family owned and operated since 1993.  We are currently recruiting a Restaurant Manager for our Beaverton location which opened in 2012. Our focus is to provide handcrafted local foods, beers, and wines from the Willamette Valley in a quality environment. We raise our own all natural Angus beef and grow organic vegetables for the restaurant on our family ranch.  Our brewery in McMinnville produces a variety of award winning styles, including a strong barrel aged and sour program. 

We are seeking a candidate that is self-driven and able to recognize opportunities/issues, come up with a plan/solution and put it to action.  This person should be willing to learn and contribute ideas to build the program, be passionate about handcrafted beer, food and wine, and have a genuine interest in taking care of the guest.  They will need to be a leader to the staff, help to resolve conflict and be willing and able to jump in and help out in any area of the restaurant when necessary. 

We are a family owned restaurant that believes in a positive work-life balance and think that well rested managers are more effective.  Two consecutive days off per week is standard and the restaurant does not stay open late so closers are generally out by 11pm.  Our managers receive 2 weeks paid vacation, meals while working, quarterly gift cards to spend at either location, discounts on beer and merchandise, IRA matching plan and a health insurance stipend that is included in the salary.
