Cargo Training Supervisor

The Cargo Trainer is responsible to train, monitor and evaluate performance of employees while ensuring company and customer service standards and policies are met.
Job Responsibilities Assist in conducting initial training Schedule and perform recurrent training Audit and evaluate operations/colleagues for compliance Maintain training files/records of all cargo employees with compliance to Airport Authority rules and regulations Perform Quality Assurance function, as required Provide direction to Quality Control personnel with regards to training related matters Administer customer cargo audits Develop training material and establish training programs as per standards Prepare examinations and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs Conduct cargo database training (Cargo Spot) Conduct specific airline training Knowledge and understanding of the current cargo policies and procedures Performs related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years cargo experience Minimum of 1 year classroom instruction experience or 3 years On the Job (OJT) Trainer experience preferable Knowledge of cargo, traffic office, and ramp procedures Be able to pass security clearance (criminal background check) Possess a valid driver’s license Knowledge of air cargo industry and past cargo training Computer systems : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access) and graphic programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills, professionalism and autonomy Sense of leadership, diplomacy and team spirit Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) Be comfortable operating large equipment, working with screening equipment and industrial forklifts Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Swissport as an equal opportunity employer bases its hiring decisions on the business need and the best qualified candidates available, and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on the basis of any protected category.
