This position is for a food manufacturing facility using steam jacketed kettles for cooking and blanching.

Job Duties:

Make sure all ingredients that require cooking, blanching and chilling are done in a manner that protects food safety, make sure they are documented properly. Thoroughly clean and sanitize the kitchen especially for allergens between cooks and at the end of the day. To prepare, cook/chill and properly label the food ingredients used in the production of the company product line. To follow internal recipes and production procedures to maintain the quality of the products. To ensure all USDA, FDA, SQF and HACCP regulations are fulfilled on a daily basis. To defrost all ingredients necessary for the following days production. • o search for methods of performing daily duties efficiently and effectively in the kitchen with ideas and suggestions communication to supervisor or upper management. To follow all employee related rules, regulations and safety policies. Performance of any other duties necessary to move the company in a positive direction. Make sure all food safety documentation is filled out in real time.

This position works in a cold climate at about 34-38 degrees.

Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.

Must be flexible with hours. Usual start time is 3am Monday-Friday.

$250 sign on bonus after 6 months of continuous employment.
