Prep/Line Cook

We are searching for a new member for our fast paced kitchen team. Mashiko is a long standing fixture in the busy West Seattle California junction. providing creative and thoughtful Japanese fare. 

Weekend availability is an absolute must. We have multiple sanitizing stations, touchless thermometer checks and other mandatory rules in place to keep all staff and guests safe during this pandemic.

Our team shares a passion for traditional sustainable Japanese cuisine with a commitment to ethical sourcing and education. 

This is not a job for someone just looking to collect a paycheck. You must be passionate about our mission, prepared to study, work hard, and committed to continually learning.

Cleanliness, self motivation, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are a must.

All levels of experience will be considered. 

We run a small, close quarters kitchen, so it is vital that our staff works efficiently, and that we maintain a positive atmosphere and work together as a team. 

We are genuinely excited and proud of what we do here, and we want to find new additions that will share in our enthusiasm and commitment to constantly learning and striving for improvement.

Compensation is competitive, and varies depending on experience.
