This positon is responsible for  benefit adminstration to assure effective coordination with and support of  benefit plans .Presents and provides counsel regarding benefits plans provisions and options to assure that active and retired associates  and  COBRA participants (NYSNA Registered Nurses, Management, Non Union, )  receive quick and correct responses to their concerns and complaints, and have their benefits problems resolved promptly Administer Tution Reimbursement program Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Benefits, the incumbent prepares written procedures, undertakes benefits projects and collects data to respond to requests from senior management, auditors.




Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience plus 2 - 4 years HR Benefits experience.  Incumbent must be capable of dealing with the pressure of potential multiple priorities yet respond to associates and other professionals and with equanimity. Knowledge of ERISA, ACA  and  state regulations regardng health and welfare plans. Presentation skills, ,advanced  Microsoft Office  Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills. Must be analytical, flexible and discreet.
