Job Summary:

An internship with Trinchero Family Estates with a focus on the on premise segment.  This position would be a great opportunity for an individual who would like to be exposed to both the sales and marketing sides of the wine and spirits industry.

 

THE INTERNSHIP WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING:

  • An understanding of the wine and spirits industry
  • Brand and Customer Development
  • Compiling customer presentations in PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.
  • Strategic Account Based Marketing and Sales Tactics
  • Consumer Insights
  • Sales & Business Insights
  • On-Premise Trends
  • Effective and Persuasive Presentations
  • Interacting with Excel documents

 

Essential Functions:

Under the direct supervision of our VP of Marketing, the Intern will contribute to the development and execution of on premise sales promotions for Trinchero Family Estate’s National Account customers. Daily collaboration activities may include:

  • Market and competitor research, analysis and presentation of results
  • Collaborating on creative promotions for customers
  • Preparing persuasive sales and marketing presentation materials, PowerPoint, etc. to deliver “Best in Class” presentation to target customers
  • Other analysis and activities as necessary to support the on premise segment for Trinchero Family Estates.
Qualifications:
  • At least a Junior standing at a 4 year accredited institution
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with a high proficiency on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment
  • Usually work a standard work week.
  • Extensive computer work
  • May be required to work at any of  TFE's locations
  • Frequent deadline pressures
  • Numerous projects in progress at any given time
  • May be required to work some overtime hours
  • Comply with company safety regulations
