Bmt/Cell Therapy Quality Coord

Provides a high degree of professional competence in supporting the quality aspect of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program. The BMT/Cell Therapy Quality Coordinator provides excellence in assessing and analyzing current practices and process to identify opportunities for program excellence. Provides clinical expertise to develop and implement plans and key quality initiatives, analyzes and evaluates BMT patient outcomes based on current literature and evidence. Provides clinical consultation and expertise to meet regulatory agency requirements. Facilitates multispecialty interdisciplinary collaboration in the pursuit of clinical excellence and patient safety.

• Experience in the use of quality management software.

• Proficient in statistical application and performance analysis.
• Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, database, and graphic software.
• Proficient in evidence based practice, critical thinking, statistical knowledge, analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of healthcare individuals and teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work with diverse teams and individuals

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or other healthcare related bachelors degree.
• 2-3 years of clinical practice quality management in a hospital setting or health related setting (Oncology/BMT preferred)
• Knowledge in quality improvement activities and use of current evidence based practice

• RN/ CPHQ or other healthcare certification
