Radar Test Engineer

The Space Systems Sector is seeking applicants for a position on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as a Systems Engineer. This position will focus on Agile software development activities for the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS).

**Serious candidate DO NOT need an active DoD Secret clearance, although you DO need to be eligible.**


Support one of the PARCS Agile software development teams focused on DEVSECOPS solutions

Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints

Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions

Participating, preparing and executing comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures

Supporting system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews

Documenting test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.

Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete

Supporting the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing

Participating in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor is appropriate

Participating in project technical risk analysis and mitigation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS degree in STEM - can be ME/EE/CS

ATO - Clearance

ATO - Sec+ 90 days from start Air Force Requirement

Linux/scripting / test automation / GIT / Python or Bash scripting

consider both SW and HW candidates - if they are coming from SW they have to be okay learning the HW, if they come from HW they have to be able to learn the SW side.

Internships are a plus, will look at senior project - knowledge of DOD is a huge plus.
