Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring skill and knowledge in such trades as heating and refrigeration, air conditioning equipment, painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of the following duties: replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks, replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken window panes, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Able to communicate/speak in English is required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to reach, sit, walk, climb, bend, kneel, pull and push for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach and work with hands raised above head
• Ability to drive to work or commute for prompt arrivals/departures as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, as needed
good vision and sharp eye-hand coordination, and frequently under moderate levels of noise
Position is typically a regular, full-time 40-hour work week, with routine scheduling Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required. Ability to obtain and maintain federal required badging and credentialing for the contract site. Contractor is a drug and alcohol-free employer.
