Soy Crushing Production Supervisor

The Soy Crushing Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations within the soybean crushing facility for assigned shift to ensure profitability.

• Provide leadership for the crushing staff to include training, and developing the staff to meet the needs of the business.
• Provide Leadership for safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
• Ensure environmental programs are in compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
• Ensure production operations provide for maximum equipment and personnel utilization.
• Ensure product quality meets customer requirements and specifications.
• Ensure routine and preventative maintenance issues are completed on production equipment. 

• BS Degree (Agriculture, Management, Business or Engineering)
• 10 years work experience can be substituted for degree

3+ years experience.  Understanding of manufacturing technologies, quality control processes, safety and environmental programs and requirements and standard software applications.  Strong communication, math, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Able to move freely throughout the facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db – hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).   May be required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities and customer locations.  Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment.
