The Role

 

This position will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for his/her assigned area(s) of application development responsibility. S/he will develop innovative complex business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. S/he will deliver more complex business application software solutions following the system development life cycle process. 

Responsibilities
  •  
  • Creates technical functional requirements documents from business user requirements and wireframes.
  • Participates in Agile scrum activities and planning.
  • Builds reporting, dashboards, and other visualizations.
  • Performs analysis on existing data and proactively offer solutions for improvements on any area of the data pipeline.
  • Trains other analytics groups in the company how to do analysis.
  • Tests analytics implementation during deployments.
Education4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum RequiredExperience

 

Technical Skills:

  • Tableau or other visualization tools such as micro strategy and Data Studio
  • SQL (Oracle, AWS, Presto)
  • Google Analytics Experience – certification preferred
  • Tag manager experience (Tealium, GTM, Adobe)
  • Excel / Sheets Proficiency
  • Data Prep tools, such as R, Tableau Prep, Alteryx
  • Javascript or Jquery knowledge

 

Soft Skills:

  • Interpretation of fuzzy or unclear requirements. Ability to dig deeper and get to the real meaning
  • Laser focus on small details without losing big picture (ie, how a misspelling could impact analytic framework)
  • Ability to talk to Technical IT folks and Business partners without technical experience to implement fully functional analytics
  • Pattern recognition
  • Independent contributor, ability to work self-governed to an objective without exact details
