As an intern in Micron's R&D Memory group you will be working on detailed electrical characterization of memory cells.  One of your duties will be electrical fingerprinting of cells to understand the transport, thermal and electronic response of memory cells. In this role, you will also be driving development of novel test structures that can be leveraged for various segmentation activities.


Key interactions include:

•Work closely with device characterization team to develop new methodologies. Drive deployment of these new methodologies to high volume testing.

•Modification, proposal and testing of new test structure relevant for next-generation memory cell characterization. Interact with layout and process teams to validate feasibility of proposed structures.

•Detailed electrical characterization fingerprint as primary handshake with TCAD and Modeling group to validate/clarify existing models/develop understanding.

  • Involved in Data automation project to work on  big data and generate dashboard.



•Strong background in device characterization.

•Good knowledge of semiconductor device physics is required.

•Knowledge of programming languages (such as C++), software tools such as Matlab is desired but not necessary. However, a strong aptitude for learning these tools is a must.



Successful candidate should be working towards PhD in Electrical/Materials engineering. Graduation date should not be prior to September 1, 2021.
