We currently have an opening for a Complex Human Resource Specialist to provide superior administrative and HR support to our 2 corrugated plants in Decatur & Huntsville, AL.  These facilities manufacture corrugated products for local and national customers.

 

The Complex Human Resources Specialist will report directly to the Plant Site Manager and functionally to Human Resources.  We are looking for a highly motivated, engaged, and committed individual that has an interest or background in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.  This position will support a broad range of HR activities including but not limited to:

 

*Employee engagement

*Pre-employment testing and administration

*Performance management

*Recruitment and selection process of hourly personnel

*Affirmative Action Planning

*Training

*Employee Benefits

*Compliance Tracking/Record Retention

*Employment transactions in SAP

* Maintenance of personnel files and facility bulletin boards

*Administer Substance Abuse program

*Coordinate facility functions

*Administer leave of absence program/Coordinate FMLA

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have 2-4 years of human resources experience.  A Bachelor of Science Degree in human resources, business or a related field is preferred.   Candidates must be customer focused, have excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and people skills.
