Senior Platform & Reliability Production Engineer – Audience Measurement

Ipsos CrossMedia is at a pivotal and exciting stage of growth, and we are looking for a motivated Production Engineer to join our innovative Data Science and Engineering teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on both high-profile, established projects for blue‑chip clients and to contribute to brand‑new, greenfield initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, including Kubernetes clusters, cloud storage, and identity and access management.
• Design, write and deploy code to manage our infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi, applying Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate building, testing and deployment of applications and data workflows.
• Create, maintain and monitor data ingestion and delivery pipelines using Argo Workflows, ensuring reliable flow to clients and internal teams.
• Monitor system health and performance, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes, and support level‑2 technical incidents, contributing to a blameless post‑mortem culture.
• Propose and implement platform improvements, from configuration management to system architecture, driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Owners to build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Participate in a shared rotation of out‑of‑hours on‑call duties, ensuring minimal impact on service availability.

Desired Qualifications

• Professional experience with a major cloud provider (primarily GCP and AWS).
• Knowledge of IaC principles and agents such as Terraform, Pulumi or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational or data warehouse databases.
• Proficiency in a scripting language, e.g., Python or Bash, and familiarity with Unix/Linux command line utilities.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and tools such as Argo Workflows.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative code‑review processes.
• Experience with Windows IIS.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Agile and project tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• A good awareness and interest in cloud security and privacy best practices.
