£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

London (3 days a week in the office)

SystemsAccountants are supporting our client in London to find an SAP Functional Lead for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a lean, high-calibre Finance Systems team supporting a live SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud landscape temporarily to cover a team member on maternity leave.

The SAP Systems Associate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our S/4 HANA Public Cloud solution, working closely with internal systems users as ongoing support for our financial services operations and being part of the wider team to support the future SAP roadmap.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working with the Head of Finance Systems, internal finance systems team, and the external partner to shape improvements to the SAP ecosystem, in line with best practice and business needs
  • Providing guidance and expertise to internal teams on system configuration and functionality
  • Supporting day-to-day operational improvement and acting as front-line support for incident triage and resolution
  • Assessing and helping implement new release features and upgrades
  • Supporting the next phase of an international rollout for overseas partners, including training and ongoing support

Role Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience working with SAP Finance in a SAP role
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition (SAP Cloud ERP)
  • Experience with SAP Finance, Procurement, and Sales & Distribution
  • Experience across FI/MM/SD
  • Experience of supplier invoicing solutions (VIM, CIM etc)
  • Understands SAP Fit to Standard
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud
  • An understanding of Financial Accounting
  • Experience with internal and external reporting and workflows
  • A collaborative team player, comfortable working with internal and external onshore/offshore parties
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar)
  • Background in financial services would be beneficial
  • Based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship
