Job Description
Join an 80-strong engineering team to scale Lendable's leading consumer finance products. You will own problems end-to-end, building and integrating APIs across a modern PHP 8 and Symfony stack. What you will do
- Design, build, and integrate new APIs across lending platforms while tuning existing services for massive scale.
- Participate in frequent collaborative design forums to influence technical architecture and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Implement robust automated testing using Behat and PHPUnit to ensure high-quality delivery within a Domain-Driven Design architecture.
The ideal candidate
- Has 5+ years of commercial PHP experience with deep expertise in PHP 8.0+ and modern frameworks like Symfony.
- Demonstrates a strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design, message-driven systems, and microservices architecture in a product-led environment.
- Thrives in high-autonomy settings, making pragmatic technical trade-offs while maintaining a high degree of ownership over business-critical systems.
