FPGA Engineer - National Security Business
We are a leading supplier in the national security domain, delivering mission‑critical solutions. This role involves working on advanced FPGA design, DSP algorithms, hardware interfacing, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, synthesize, and implement digital logic circuits using VHDL/Verilog.
- Develop, simulate, and optimize real‑time DSP algorithms (e.g., FIR/IIR filters, FFTs, I/Q demodulation, mixers).
- Create and manage high‑speed digital interfaces such as ADC, DAC, PCIe.
- Collaborate with embedded software, PCB design, and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware into the final product.
- Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to validate designs in the lab.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in FPGA design (VHDL/Verilog) and DSP algorithm implementation.
- Strong command of VHDL/Verilog and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Embedded C/C++ or Python experience for testing, automation, and processor‑based interaction.
- Understanding of digital communication theory and RF principles.
- Eligible and willing to obtain DV clearance.
