A professional services organisation is looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to support and enhance its finance systems and processes. This role will play a key part in delivering digital transformation initiatives and ensuring finance operations are supported by accurate, reliable, and compliant systems.

The Role

Acting as a subject matter expert for finance operations, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify improvements and deliver system enhancements across finance platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting finance-focused digital transformation projects
  • Acting as SME and second-line support for finance system queries
  • Gathering and defining business requirements for system changes and enhancements
  • Collaborating with development teams to design, test, and deliver solutions
  • Managing user acceptance testing and producing test plans
  • Writing SQL queries for reporting and analysis
  • Maintaining and improving existing systems, processes, and workflows
  • Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners

About You

You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams.

Experience in:

  • Finance systems within the legal sector (including cashiering and collections)
  • Practice management systems (e.g. Elite 3E or similar)
  • Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
  • Supporting or delivering system improvements and change initiatives
  • Working with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
  • SRA regulations and compliance
  • Experience with DevOps tools
  • Exposure to project delivery or change environments
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or complex finance environments
