About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Fluttr Developer with strong expertise in the banking domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Fluttr Developer required to build high-performance secure banking applications, implement state management, and ensure compliance with strict financial cybersecurity standards.
Your Skills
- Expert proficiency in Flutter/Dart combined with a solid foundational knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift)
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as BLoC, Provider, or Riverpod
- Hands‑on experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, data encryption in transit, and writing unit/widget tests
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins) and familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Implementation: Translating complex Figma UI designs into responsive pixel‑perfect layouts
- Performance Optimization: Identifying memory leaks and ensuring smooth 60fps animations
- Collaboration: Working closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver secure financial features
- Compliance: Adhering to Barclays' strict cybersecurity policies and SOX compliance requirements
