Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead or Senior IT Support position.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and network infrastructure.
  • Excellent cyber security knowledge and experience.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site business.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience managing third-party IT providers.
  • A genuine interest in developing and improving IT functions over the long term.
  • Apple Mac experience and knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience transitioning IT services from outsourced to internal delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support across the business.
  • Manage and improve IT systems, infrastructure and technology processes.
  • Drive cyber security initiatives and ensure best practice remains embedded across the organisation.
  • Work alongside external IT providers whilst supporting the long-term plan to bring services in-house.
  • Lead and deliver IT projects that improve efficiency, performance and user experience.
  • Manage hardware, software, licences and IT assets.
  • Assess and recommend new technologies to support business growth.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
