About the Role
The Systems & Infrastructure group of Intelligent Infrastructure provides high‑value advisory and design services that make transportation and infrastructure cleaner, safer and more enjoyable through technology.
Areas of Expertise
- Connectivity – business and technical advice on solutions that interconnect applications and devices, including 4G/5G, LPWAN, Unified Communications, WAN and Fibre.
- Cyber Security – support clients operating Critical National Infrastructure across non‑classical IT, IoT and mixed environments.
- Data and Architecture – advise on what is possible and use analytics and data science to deliver objectives, leveraging domain expertise across business, application and technology layers.
- Digital Infrastructure Design – use data in digital models so that geographic and technical constraints are addressed before implementation.
- Systems – apply systems engineering and systems thinking to the specification, procurement, verification and validation of operational technology systems.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Evidence of a technical background with a relevant qualification (degree or equivalent) in one of the technical areas above.
- Experience delivering high‑quality consultancy‑style projects in connectivity, cyber security, data architecture, digital infrastructure design or systems.
- Experience working as a client, consultant or contractor, ideally within transport, public sector or high‑risk environments.
- Professional registration or equivalent industry experience is an added recognition.
