Our client is looking for someone to be responsible for defining and evolving the Salesforce architecture and roadmap, ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned to wider business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve end-to-end Salesforce architecture across multiple clouds and capabilities.
  • Lead architecture governance, technical design reviews, solution sign-off and technical assurance.
  • Define standards for Salesforce development, configuration, data, integration, environments and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide hands‑on architectural guidance and support to development and delivery teams.
  • Design and govern complex enterprise integrations using API-led, event-driven, synchronous/asynchronous and batch patterns.
  • Establish integration standards covering security, resiliency, error handling and observability.
  • Provide technical oversight across Apex, LWC, Flows, data models, performance and Salesforce security.
  • Shape DevOps, CI/CD, environment and release management strategies.
  • Drive improvements in technical quality, platform governance and technical debt reduction.
  • Support security, compliance, audit and operational-readiness activities.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical, Enterprise or Lead Architect working on large-scale programmes.
  • Strong hands‑on Salesforce experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience designing solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds and products.
  • Strong enterprise integration architecture experience across complex system landscapes.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, LWC, Flows, data architecture, security and performance.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management and SDLC controls.
  • Experience establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks and technical design assurance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the confidence to challenge technical decisions and influence senior stakeholders.
