Network Infrastructure Engineer
Our Client a bank with offices in Central London are looking to recruit a Network Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years hands-on experience.
The Client is ideally looking for a candidate with a Financial Services or Banking sector experience.
Technical/Functional skills
- Proficient in common windows operating systems
- Windows 11, Windows Server 2019-2025, Redhat & Ubunto Linux based Operating Systems
Software proficiency
- VMWare vSphere & vCenter v8.0 and above
- Veeam Backup and Replication
- Veeam Orchestrator and VeeamOne, Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Symantec Endpoint Encryption
- ManageEngine Endpoint Central
- Microsoft Office 365
- Bloomberg FXT/eikons
- Murex Treasury System
- SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)
- Networking (IT), Cisco Switches and Routers
- Fortigate Firewalls, LAN/WAN Routing
- Hardware, Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell PowerVault SAN Storage
Data analysis - PC/Laptop support (formatting, imaging, etc).
Experience of writing and updating IT policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
Needs experiencing in delivering projects in fast pace environment.
This is 3 days in the office position at the Clients offices in Central London.
This is a FTC position for 6 months with a salary of circa £45K - £55K.
