Are you an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving genuinely complex technical challenges?

We're hiring a Software Engineering Specialist to join a highly skilled engineering team, led by a true giant in the space, delivering bespoke software solutions that support critical national programmes.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days maintaining legacy systems or sitting through endless meetings. You'll be working directly with customers, shaping technical direction, solving difficult engineering problems and helping to build software that really matters.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering high-quality software solutions
• Working directly with customers to solve complex technical challenges
• Influencing technical strategy and engineering direction
• Mentoring and coaching other software engineers
• Taking ownership of delivery from concept through to deployment

We're interested in people with experience in:

• Python
• C#
• C++
• Java
• C
• Objective-C

Additional experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, JavaScript, MEAN Stack, Agile delivery or technical leadership would be highly beneficial.
