Job Overview
We’re currently looking for 5 experienced VMware Engineers to join a secure, high-impact environment.
Location & Rate
? Location: Corsham (4–5 days onsite)
? Rate: £425/day (flexible up to £450/day for the right candidate)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on administration and support of VMware vSphere 6.7 environments (ESXi & vCenter)
- Diagnose and resolve incidents within a live production environment, ensuring minimal disruption
- Support BAU operations and resolver group activities across virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Manage full VM lifecycle (provisioning, cloning, migration, decommissioning)
- Monitor cluster health, including HA/DRS configurations and resource utilisation
- Perform performance tuning and optimisation across virtual infrastructure
- Troubleshoot host, datastore, and virtual networking (vSwitch / distributed switch) issues
- Apply patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and operational standards
- Work within secure SC‑cleared environments, adhering to strict protocols
- Provide out‑of‑hours and weekend support, including high‑priority incident response
Qualifications
- Strong experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 (ESXi & vCenter)
- Proven experience in production support environments
- Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and networking layers
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Ability to work onsite in Corsham 4–5 days per week
