The rapidly growing technology consultancy is looking to hire a Network Consultant to join their team in London. The role will focus on a major client transformation programme, helping migrate third-party customer environments into a centrally managed, cloud-hosted Fortinet firewall platform.
This is a hands-on, project-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys working across complex network and security environments, with ownership across implementation, migration and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Migrating customer environments into Fortinet firewall infrastructure.
- Advertising customer networks using BGP.
- Configuring and implementing FortiGate firewall policies.
- Building and supporting site-to-site IPsec VPN connectivity.
- Managing routing and secure connectivity between environments.
- Supporting customer network onboarding and migration activities.
- Working with Fortinet technology deployed within AWS.
- Troubleshooting complex routing, firewall, and connectivity challenges.
- Planning and implementing technical changes.
- Working directly with customers and technical stakeholders.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on Fortinet/FortiGate experience.
- Good understanding of BGP routing.
- Experience configuring IPsec and site-to-site VPNs.
- Strong firewall policy configuration experience.
- Experience across enterprise networking environments.
- Comfortable working directly with customers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering implementation or migration projects.
Highly Advantageous:
- Fortinet within AWS environments.
- Cloud networking exposure.
- FortiManager.
- FortiAnalyzer.
- CCNP-level networking knowledge.
- Multi-site customer migration experience.
