Position Overview

Part-time (67.5 hours per fortnight) – Fixed Term to 30 June 2028. Lead a new model of integrated mental health care in Brisbane North PHN at the Redcliffe Medicare Mental Health Centre. Provide operational leadership, supervision, practice support and a reduced clinical caseload, facilitating high-quality person-centred care and partnerships with General Practices and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary mental health team.
  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching and reflective practice.
  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery and workforce planning.
  • Deliver recovery-oriented assessments, care coordination and shared care planning.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with General Practices and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor service quality, performance and contractual KPIs.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and contribute to program evaluation.
  • Foster a positive, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented team culture.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Behavioural Science, Counselling, Community Services or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience providing recovery-oriented mental health support for people with complex needs.
  • Strong skills in biopsychosocial assessment, care planning and care coordination.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred practice.
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Working with People with Disability Check (or ability to obtain).
  • National Police Check.
