SAIC is seeking an experienced systems engineer (SETA) with a strong background managing integration efforts of site facilities projects and hardware programs for diverse locations. This candidate will support a government program office in charge of ground element command and control (C2) activities within a space program office.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform integration support for integrated hardware solutions to multiple sites.
- Provide systems engineering support for hardware requirements & design, test plans, and requirements verifications through acceptance testing from developers.
- Understand risk management processes and methods for adjudicating program risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate across geographic diverse sites for delivery and acceptance testing; requires travel to these sites as well as to developer sites.
- Provide coordination with Site facilities teams during site surveys, with site construction activities, and for long-term facilities maintenance of data centers and power and cooling systems.

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelors and 14 years or more experience; Masters and 9 years or more experience; PhD and 6 years or more experience.
- One degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Required Clearances:

- TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Skills:

- Experience managing combined hardware and software integration activities.
- Experience with systems integration from factory testing to site implementation.
- Experience with space-ground systems architectures and life cycle support.
- Experience in organizing meetings, project coordination, and writing and reviewing technical reports is also expected.
- Possess high organizational capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel overseas.

Desired Skills:

- Prior experience for acquisition activities related to requirements development and assessment, technical evaluations of proposals, and ECP development.
- Experience with hardware development, verification, validation, and O&M for large systems.
- Prior ground experience in a satellite program office.
- Experience in coordinating government construction activities including MOU/MOA’s, Requests for Change (RFC’s), Site Survey coordination and activities.
- Experience in site facilities and construction activities including Environmental Impact Assessments, building/construction codes and standards.
- Experience in power, cooling requirements for data centers.
- Experience in hardware integration activities for a space ground element.
- Experience in NRO, IC, and DoD program management processes.
- PMP certification.
- CSEP certification.
