The End User Enablement IT Team provides technology solutions and tools in support of Capital Group’s collaboration and client compute capabilities.As a Solutions Engineer based in Irvine, you will be a liaison between business users and development teams, act as a subject matter expert for your given technical expertise, and provide leadership and mentorship to the development team. You will perform research and analysis in order to build business requirements to deliver innovative technology. Responsibilities:
  • Partners and consults with business partners in order to analyze and document complex business problems. Provide recommendations based on industry trends, business products, competitors and performance analysis for optimal business solutions. Articulates benefits and analyzes feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of programs.
  • Under limited supervision, leads and personally contributes to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more business capabilities and/or products.  
  • In collaboration with more senior associates, leads different parts of solution delivery along with internal technology, vendor and business partners. Collaborate with business partners and IT leadership team to develop strategy and roadmap related to the end user enablement space.
  • Responsible for leading different elements of project work – including design, requirements definition, analysis, budget/ROI evaluation, communication, testing, pilot/implementation, and on-going support with IT and business partners
  • Consults with Senior Management on business process design, re-design and re-engineering based on industry trends and directions. In addition, coaches colleagues on business process design and re-engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience as a business systems analysis
  • Must have experience working in systems development team for complex hardware/software systems projects. 
  • Experience of the collaboration ecosystem (SharePoint, Office 365, Slack, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills
  • Project and or Program management experience a plus
