Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Chicago, IL office location (and various client sites nationwide) for application and process specific expert consulting (for a or several specific application area(s): creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support).

 

Expectations and Tasks: Support in escalated projects. Performance of feasibility studies/solution reviews. Support of pre-sales activities (license and consulting). Identifying and applying Integrated Service Delivery options. Take over responsibility from time to time as a (sub) project team lead. Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Detailed planning of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Industry/corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP, OnPremise and cloud-based). Develop and Assure quality of process models. Demonstrating expert knowledge of modeling standards and tools. 50% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 7 years of experience, or alternatively, a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.

 

Work Experience: Experience must include 5 years of experience involving: Product Lifecycle Management processes for discrete manufacturing industries; Product Lifecycle Management SAP solutions for discrete manufacturing industries, including Bill of Material, engineering bill of material, product lifecycle costing, visual enterprise 3D, portfolio and project management, and engineering change management; project management methodology, including PMP certification from Project Management Institute (PMI); IOT, Industry 4.0, Big Data and Machine Learning. 50% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
