What you’ll do:


  • Position Title: Production Services Engineer Intern
  • Location: Vancouver
  • Expected start date to end date: January 7, 2019 to August 30, 2019




You will be accountable for ensuring every component of each project is successfully built each day with expected quality, working with developers to isolate and solve problems as well as troubleshooting any issues that may cause a build break.  As part of the global team you are in constant communication with all teams across the organization involved in product development and delivery. 


In addition to build and assembly responsibilities, you will also be involved with all aspects of software innovation from requirements through development to roll-out. You are an independent worker, yet a team-player with a strong customer focus.  You enjoy helping people and have a keen enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the continuous development




  • Setting up and configuring builds in support development activities
  • Performing source control functions and integrations
  • Monitoring daily build activities and troubleshooting issues that arise
  • Being responsive to our internal customers and an innovative problem solver


Who you are:


We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.




  • Understanding of source control management (SCM) theory and systems
  • Experience using a source control system – Git/Gerrit, GitHub, Perforce
  • Understanding of build automation tools – Ant, Gradle, Grunt, Make, Maven
  • Understanding of scripting languages – Bash, Batch, Groovy, Javascript, Perl, Python, Powershell
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools – Jenkins/Hudson
  • Understanding of programming languages – Java, C/C++
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting / debugging tools

Enrolled in an undergraduate program of Computer Science or Engineering
