Advocate Medical Group is a physician-led medical group providing primary care, specialty services, medical imaging, outpatient services and community based medical practices throughout the Chicagoland and Bloomington/Normal.

Graduate of AMA approved School of Ultrasound. Must be able to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age group patients treated.
Registered or Registry Eligible
Excellent skills in performing abdomen, some OB/GYNE, some vascular and Small Parts ultrasound exams. Excellent knowledge in pathology in the named above. ARDMS
CPR Certification

Requires good judgment, needs to be responsible, reliable, and work independently. Need to be flexible in working hours, and on~call rotation. Needs to have good people skills and patient care skills.
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

To perform a wide variety of non~invasive procedures by utilizing a wide variety of sophisticated sonographic equipment to aid in the clinical diagnosis. To record and document images, history, and other pertinent clinical information for analysis and interpretation by the radiologists.

Accountabilities:
Performance of a comprehensive array of sophisticated non~invasive procedures demonstrating the appropriate anatomy of interest.
Responsible for staying abreast with the latest ultrasound developments.
Documentation of patient history.
Ensures a secure and safe patient and work environment by maintaining a continued awareness of safety hazard labels.
Provides technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department.
