Sr. Software Developer (MyBiz)

What do we need:


We are looking for an experienced Developer that wants to hone their skills and lead the development team for one of our mission-critical ABO applications.

The MyBiz team is a tight knit group that works on leading-edge technologies to assist our ABOs in managing their businesses. The overall team is made up of Software Developers, Project Managers, and Analysts.  They have a cross-functional partnership with the Digital team in Sales. They enjoy a lean, Agile work environment, and they are led by Hema, the Manager of IT Leadership Experiences.


How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you will be responsible for high-level development work on our MyBiz websites and web components that our top ABOs use to manage their businesses. These include tracking tools to track how the ABOs are trending for their rewards. You will be doing mostly front-end development in this role. You will also be working on enhancements using continuous integration and deployment processes. We are looking for a level of innovation and self-motivation from you; we want you to help us provide the best digital business management tools in the industry.


This is a Senior position, geared towards helping our other developers stay on track with their goals while still providing your own high-level work. In other words, this is a 1st level leadership role. To do this, you’ll have full access to work with HTML/CSS, Polymer, Jenkins, and GitHub. You’ll play a key part of the Amway Next and Digital Transformation strategy, providing very visible and effective solutions to our ABO population across the world.



What skills and background will be important to be successful:


We’ll need you to have superior knowledge and experience in terms of developing websites. You’ll also need to understand and be comfortable with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes. A Bachelor’s degree is required for this role.
