SUMMARY

Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, troubleshooting, testing, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inverter Wiring

 

NEC

 

Refrigeration Training Modules

 

Mount Probes and Transducers

 

Hardwire Testing

 

Auto Transfer Switches

 

Wiring Generators

 

Wiring Lights

 

Tie-in Compressors

 

Installing Conduit

 

Line Conditioners

 

Wiring of Electrical Motors

 

Wire Standard I-Line

 

Follows diagrams or blueprints ensuring wiring is installed as according to plan

 

Complex Panel Wirings, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.

 

Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.

 

Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and

Assists in training Electrical 1

 

circuit-breaker panels.

 

Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.

 

Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.

 

Repairs faulty equipment or systems.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or technical school; or eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
