About the role 



Under general supervisory direction, assists in the daily support of processes, materials and equipment for medical devices consisting of extruded, braided and injection-molded components in order to meet production goals.

Your Responsibilities



  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
  • Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
  • Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to improve processes.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Work with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers.
  • Work with departmental customers to improve material / process quality.
  • Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices.
  • Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.Write and execute validation protocols and technical reports.




What we are looking for:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.



 Work Measurement Systems, 5S, material replenishment systems, standard work management, visual management systems, Kaizen leadership, ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical co-workers, ability to balance multiple responsibilities related to production line support.
