Job Summary

Plans, implements, directs and facilitates activities that support GHS Central Region's ability to achieve and remain a successfully accredited health care organization that is continuously ready for patients every day. This includes, but is not limited to, serving as the on-site survey leader, as a resource and consultant to the organization, as a liaison between the organization and its accreditation or regulatory bodies, and as an expert in continuous improvement processes. Responsible for maintaining current expertise for continuous compliance with accreditation/ regulatory bodies and assures that all survey requirements/preparations are made within the appropriate time frames.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing or Healthcare related field

Minimum Experience

5 years - Clinical and/or administrative experience in an acute care hospital setting with specific experience related to JC, DHEC or CMS regulations/ standards.
