The Griffith University School of Health Sciences and Social Work offers a range of educational programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Brisbane South (Nathan) and Gold Coast campuses. The School has a strong allied health focus, spanning Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech Pathology, Exercise and Sport, Social Work and Human Services. Our research has a strong focus on innovation, interdisciplinarity, translation and impact, and we contribute to a wide range of partnerships and engagements with clinical, government, NGO, industry and community stakeholders. We have significant research expertise in the areas of disability and rehabilitation (including cognitive, neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory health).
We are seeking a Lecturer in Acute Care Physiotherapy to join our team in a role that blends teaching, research and clinical education. You will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality student learning opportunities in Acute Care Physiotherapy, while supporting broader program learning and teaching foci such as simulation, interprofessional education, and cultural safety. Your expertise will contribute to cutting-edge physiotherapy research, ensuring that our programs remain at the forefront of evidence-based practice.

This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at either the Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range:
The full-time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.
For this role you must hold a doctoral or masters qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent accreditation and standing with 6+ years of relevant clinical experience and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field. It is a requirement that you are eligible for membership of AHPRA as a physiotherapist as well as demonstrating experience in acute care physiotherapy.
