Description
SCC is seeking a Pastor for 1 year full-time, with the provision for a 1 year extension.
Our desire is for a Pastor who –
- Understands and acts on the Biblical character requirements of 1 Tim 3 and Titus 1.
- Understands the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church and in personal ministry.
- Preaches and teaches the whole counsel of God as revealed in the Holy scriptures.
- Will encourage, empower, and support ministry leaders in the outreach activities of the church.
- Will lead the Pastoral care team.
- Will further develop our ‘heart’ culture –
- Hearts to draw closer to and walk closely with our God and Christ as our Lord and savior.
- Hearts to love as Christ loves and be in fellowship with others in the Church.
- Hearts to be a channel of blessing for the Lord Jesus Christ to our local communities.
The Pastor will be supported by a strong Church Leadership Team.
Queensland Baptist registration is not a mandatory requirement for this position.
