The position also requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Computer competency is required.

Reporting to the Talent Development Advisor, the Talent Management Assistant Co-op Student provides support to the Talent Management team including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Inclusion and Diversity. This position is responsible for facilitation all details of the administration required for the successful delivery of the Talent Management programs throughout the 8 month term.

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the appropriate Program Leads as required
  • Track the global Talent Management schedule for events and ensure proper resourcing at each event
  • Code and track of all Talent Management invoices and develop metrics for measuring effectiveness of Talent Management programs
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for training and development courses
  • Maintain the internal SharePoint site and the External facing Talent Management Resources SharePoint site
  • Work independently on specific projects as assigned


  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Computer competency is required, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, HRIS, and/or SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and tact
  • Ability to handle confidential and personal information to ensure compliance with PIPA, PIPEDA, and other regional privacy laws
